Organizations

Organizations such as the Black Student Union (BSU) and the Black Business Association (BBA) provide a material context, much like the Union hangout, for placing based on Face and Word of Mouth. These and other organizations such as letter societies, created for Black students, or minority students in general, provide information and services, special programs and events, and regular meetings where Black students can meet and place one another as community members.
