Pan African Studies

Pan African Studies classes are another context where Black students might want to show their Face. As explained in the Kickin' It: Hangouts section, a once-popular hangout was located near the building where Pan African Studies classes were held. The classes were a meeting place that was continued before and after class in the shared temporal, social, and racial territory of the outdoor hangout, the Square.
